The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MOCA) is beginning the Vande Bharat Mission registration from today May 7 on portal Vande Bharat Mission is ought to be one of the biggest evacuation carried by India so far. Over 1.4 crore Indians are stranded in other countries. Out of this many are stranded in Gulf countries and neighboring countries. Indian Government will execute this mission by deploying air flights and ships to evacuate all the stranded migrants in other countries.

Air India has scheduled 64 flights across 12 countries from May 7 to 15 to evacuate Indians. Now the stranded Indian  Overseas Migrants need to apply for Online Regsitration for flight booking. The government is start online Booking for Vande Bharat Mission Foreign Migrant registration Form to bring in India from all countries.

Till now, Government has planned 64 flights to be operated in the next seven days around 15,000 stranded Indians in other countries. However, all the measures of precautions will be followed. For this, stranded Indians have to fill the registration form called as Vande Bharat Registration form available on site. Vande Bharat Mission will take place on 7th May 2020 and the number of flights will take off to other countries to bring back the migrants.

The government of India has made it very clear that their priority is pregnant women, students, pilgrims, migrant workers, one whose visas are about to expire, and one who is about to get deported. Indians having Overseas Indian cards are not eligible are Vande Bharat Mission. 1.4 crore Indians to be evacuated is next to possible, so only those who wish to get back to India are considered the most. Most importantly, the air flight ticket is chargeable.

Who is Eligible for Vande Bharat Mission?

Government of India is evacuating stranded Indians on the following flight fares:

  1. The flight fare from London to Delhi is around 50,000 Rupees.
  2. Air India Ticket price from India will cost migrants around 1 Lakh Rupees.
  3. Migrants stranded in Gulf countries, including Dubai, the airplane fare will be like 13,000 Rupees or more.

Though these prices are giving goosebumps to all the stranded migrants and students in other countries. Thus, the Government of India is tight-lipped on imposing such high fare on the Air India ticket fare.

Vande Bharat & Samudra Setu Mission

On Closely monitoring the Government of India not only deployed more than 64 Air India Flights to evacuate all the stranded migrants but also deployed ships to evacuate them. Indian Naval Ships naming Magar and Jalashwa will be on its way to the Maldives on 8th May 2020 to evacuate all Indians stuck on the island. Vande Bharat Mission and Samudra Setu Mission is a combined effort to evacuate all the migrants from different spots of the world. Phase 1 of the evacuation of India has been started and Navy said that around 1000 stranded migrants will be evacuated by them in this first phase. In the amid Lockdown due to the novel COVID-19, many of the migrants stuck in different countries and was unable to get back to India.

Flight Timings of Vande Bharat Mission

Although the Government of India has not released any charts of flights operating for the next few days to evacuate stranded migrants. Well, Air India flights operating on 7th May 2020 Thursday will be as follows:

a) First Flight between Abu Dhabi to Kochi will depart from 16:15 and arrive in India by 21:40. This first flight will bring around 368 Keralites from Gulf to India on 7th May 2020.

b) Second Flight of Air India Express will be between Dubai – Kozhikode. Its departure will be from 17:00 hrs and will reach India by 22:30.

Furthermore flights to be operated by the Government of India to make everything possible to bring back the stranded citizens of India from other countries.

Nevertheless, the Government of India is not only evacuating stranded Indians from other countries but also making arrangements for other citizens who are stranded in India too. All the tourists or any Indian having foreign country citizenship, holding OCI card also having green cards of that country can leave India. From 8th May 2020, Air India will most likely open their bookings for the United States, London, and Singapore. Whoever, so interested in can make bookings. We want to advise all the migrants and others to go through the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and booking fare before applying for the registration and other formalities.

    I wanna migrate canada under th vande bharat program and I have a valid visa and no restrictions to travel..helo me book my tickets

      Further to my last request yesterday, my nephew wants to return back to India ( Ahmedabad ) immediately because of his deteriorating mental health. Some one has to help him board the Vandematarm flight from Toronro at the earliest possible as otherwise he will harm himself. Shakuntal is not in a state of doing any formalities for his flight back & his old parents are very worried as he has switched off his phone. We shall buy his air ticket from India once you confirm his registration & date of the flight to Mumbai or Delhi fro Toronto.
